Private: Signature Dangriga Cultural Group Tour

This in an off the beaten path tour that allows you to immerse yourself in the true local culture at the picturesque little town of Dangriga, which remains undiscovered no fancy resorts or restaurants, just authentic, local cuisine and people! We first visit Marie Sharp Hot Sauce factory and try some goodies if you are a fan of Hot Sauce you will go crazy at the factory! After that, we visit the Gulisi Garifuna Museum and learn about the history of our Garifuna people, our customs and beliefs. We then head to the Shed, a beautiful, local spot with thatch roofs and sandy grounds to enjoy some live Garifuna drumming while feasting on some delicious Hudut (a traditional Garifuna delicacy). Enjoy some true Garifuna cuisine It doesnt get more authentic than that! We also visit the local drum maker at Why-not island. Last but not least, we head over to the studio gallery of legendary Maestro Pen Cayetano Painter, singer, songwriter and guitarist. His studio is an old colonial house built in the early 1900s, where we learn even more about the extraordinary Garifuna journey!
