I loved everything about this trip! I'm in India for work and really wanted to take in the Taj Mahal. Since I have work on Friday and Monday in Bangalore (and still wanted some time to explore Bangalore!) I didn't want to do a full weekend trip to Delhi and Agra. This trip was perfect!!! While it did make for a long day (up at 2:45AM and back to my hotel at 2AM), it was definitely worth it. I had a few concerns about being a solo female traveler making this trip on my own which is why I decided to do a tour. Everyone that I met and work with every step of the way was professional, very helpful and early to meet me so I wasn't waiting around. Janardhan was great helping me getting to and from the hotel in Bangalore! When I reached Delhi, Umashankar was there to meet me immediately and take me to the car where he had cold bottled water and snacks for our drive to Agra. Uma did a stellar job driving to and from Agra. He consistently checked in on me and made sure we had plenty of rest stops at places with clean restrooms. Upon reaching Agra, we met Tony who was my tour guide for the day. Tony did an AMAZING job! He gave me a lot of information about the monuments and answered all my questions. He gave me a true appreciation for why this is considered one of the wonders of the world. A quick comment on the weather: it was hot! But a bonus of that was that it wasn't that crowded! However, there was still quite a crush to get through the security before going into the moment. Definitely a lot of pushing and shoving so just be aware of and prepared for that! But thankfully with the tour, I never had to wait in long lines! I was also able to observe the embroidery and marble inlay handicrafts which was so amazing to see up close. I didn't get a chance to make it to the Agra Fort and I suspect that's because I took too long admiring the handicrafts! After my tour around Agra, they sent me off to Delhi in plenty of time to catch my flight back to Bangalore so I wasn't rushing through the airport. Long review short: This tour is fantastic! if you only have a short amount of time to see the Taj Mahal, this is the perfect solution!

The Taj Mahal is an amazing site and a must see if you are in India. Note that this time of year is very hot, due to the fact it is India's summertime. However it was still worth the trip. It was very well organized from the moment you get picked up at the hotel in Bangalore, then get picked up in Delhi for the drive to Agra, then your personal tour guide in Agra, and then everything done in reverse. Our Driver, tour guide and tour coordinator were lovely and so nice, I had told them it was my husband's birthday and they did some very nice things, from getting one of the photos we got having happy birthday written on it, and they bought a cake for us at the end of our trip, so that was very thoughtful. It was a very long day starting at 3:30 AM from the hotel in Bangalore until 2:00 AM so almost a 24 hour adventure. Also the guide will take you to a couple places (rug making shop, marble shop and then a clothing shop) - while it was very cool to see the by hand techniques of the items were made, they did try to sell you stuff. Just note that. Otherwise it was an a awesome trip and really enjoyed.

I only have few days to visit some places on India. So I decided to take this tour on one day. They pick me up at 3.30am in Bangalore and we went to the airport to Delhi. When I arrived to Delhi it was raining a lot but Prem the driver was there to welcome me. He was very helpful and talkative. After 3hs we arrived to Agra without raining :D hopefully. There was Rajhikant our Guide. The Taj Mahal guide was on Spanish, he speak a very well spanish it was very nice and also helpful. with Raj it was very easy to enter in the Taj Mahal, he pick up the tickets and he help with to avoid the lines. I mean there are some many people visit the Taj Mahal and the entrance and the main tomb have a long line to enter. With Rajhikant I avoided the lines and entered quickly. After visiting the Taj Mahal, we went to visit some local stores. When we finished we came back to Delhi (3hs more). There were a little traffic jam when we arrived to Delhi but Prem leave me on time in the airport. After 2hs and half I arrived to Bangalore at 12.45 am. So I arrived to the hotel at 1.30 am. I really liked and enjoy it but It was almost 24hs tour. But Taj Mahal really was worth it!!!

This was a full 24 hour tour, totally worth being tired. They picked us up at the hotel at 3 AM, we were on the 5 AM flight. Arrived in New Delhi for two and half hour car ride. Our tour guide was amazing. Saw the Taj, did some shopping and went to the Red Fort. Another two and half hour drive back to New Delhi and back on a plane. Arrived at our hotel 2:45 AM. Couple of side notes for travelers that I was totally shocked by: I was apparently there during the HOT season, it was 106 degree the day I went. end of April Ensure that you have some kind of shade, be it an umbrella or hat as there is NO shade anywhere to be found on sight. Get one of the professional photographers on sight. They know where to take the pictures and I was very please with the printouts and CD. When shopping REMEMBER to negotiate. I bought a table and had the shop ship it to me, I can confirm that the table made it to me in the USA in one piece. Public bathrooms in India DO NOT have toilet paper. This was a world-wind tour, glad I did it.
