About this activity
Sample Program
• Set out at 11 am, drive out of the city into the outskirts on the North side.
• Visit a silk weaving unit that uses the handloom technique to create designer products (accessories and garments).
• Noon A privately hosted lunch in a traditional Brahmin home OR Lunch at an exclusive farmhouse on the outskirts of the city, by an Indian family that has chosen to live there Vs live in the city. Interesting conversations over lunch with the host.
• 1 pm Stop by at a rural village on the outskirts and see the India that Gandhi tried to save.
• 2 pm Drive further north 35 min and make a visit to the magnificent Bhoganandeeshwara temple, the oldest temple around Bangalore that celebrates the wedding of Shiva and Parvati.
• 4 pm arrive at the Soma Vineyard on the outskirts. Wine - tasting and vineyard walk followed by 6 pm dinner, at a magical Indian vineyard that supplies grapes to the finest Indian wines, in the company of the most unique, knowledgeable, humorous host Darby Raju.
• Drive back to the city to reach back by 8PM

- If we are using our car, our pick up for guests within 3km from MG road is free. Beyond that is chargeable at 13Rs per km + 150 per hour extra driving.
