If your curiosity has ever been even slightly piqued, you should definitely check out this tour conducted by Geist at their brewery in Katamnallur, just 21 km from the heart of Bangalore city.

The Geist Brewery Tour is only one-hour long and gives you an extremely detailed look at the complete process of how craft beer is made. Once an abandoned plywood factory set amid the fields of Nimbekaipura (the village of lemons), now it has been transformed into a brewer’s paradise. Every detail of the factory has been given special attention, each bend, twist, turn, and diameter of the brewery machinery and design affects the taste, aroma and character of every batch of beer produced.

The Geist brewery tour is hosted by an accomplished team who will fill you in on the Geist craft beer story, the process and machinery involved and will give you a guided tour of the entire factory. You will also be provided with three of their signature beer flavours to try and at the end of the tour, a Geist t-shirt, a Geist glass and a certificate will be provided to you. It goes without saying that you have to be of the legal drinking age to attend the tour.

The tour will happen twice every month at 11:00 am on a scheduled date, but if there are more than 6 participants who are interested then it can be arranged for on any Saturday of the month.
