About this activity
Set out from Bangalore city at 7am. First, visit the Ramanagara silk cocoon market and stop for some traditional South Indian/Karnataka coffee and a snack (at own expense).
Drive through toy town Channapatna, where traditional Indian toys are made, and through Mandya, where sugarcane fields feed the sugar industry. After, enjoy lunch by the River side near Srirangapattana (At your own expense)
Tour the historic town of Shrirangapattana, outside Mysore. The entire town is enclosed by the river Kaveri to form an island. Visit the revered Sri Ranganthaswamy temple built in the ninth century and Tippu Sultans Summer Palace.
