About this activity
The tour starts early in the morning after meeting your personal chauffeur in your hotel lobby. He will make a brief stop on the way to Srirangapatna should you choose to have breakfast (at your own cost).

Drive 160 Kilometers (approx) to Srirangapatna from Bangalore/Bengaluru city. The entire town is enclosed by the river Kaveri to form a river island. Your Private guide will meet you at Srirangapatna.

Visit the Ranganthaswamy temple dedicated to the Hindu god Ranganatha is one of the five important pilgrimage sites along the river Kaveri for devotees of Ranganatha. These five sacred sites are together known as Pancharanga Kshetrams in Southern India.

Daria Daulat Bagh (literally 'Garden of the Wealth') is a palace situated in the city of Srirangapatna. The most stunning feature of the palace is that all the space available on the walls, pillars, canopies and arches have colourful frescoes in the style of Mysore paintings.

Tombs of Tipu Sultan and Hyder Ali, looks very similar to the Golconda tombs with an elegant square chamber with a brick dome. The excellent workmanship is evident in the carved stone windows, ebony doorways artistically designed with inlaid ivory.

St. Philomena's church is a Catholic church built in honour of St. Philomena in the Diocese of Mysore, India. It was constructed in 1936 using a Neo Gothic style and its architecture was inspired by the Cologne Cathedral in Germany.

Your private Guide will assist with few recommendations to have lunch (at your own cost) in the middle of the tour.

The Palace of Mysore is the official residence and seat of the Wodeyars — the Maharajas of Mysore, the royal family of Mysore, who ruled the princely state from 1399 to 1950. The palace houses two durbar halls and incorporates a mesmerizing and gigantic array of courtyards, gardens, and buildings.

Icing on the cake for the day is, walking tour in the Bazaars of Devaraja market. This Bazaar is an apt place to get a flavour of the local people's daily life. With more than 100 years of history, this market is well knitted into the heritage of Mysore.

At the end of the trip drive uphill on Chaundi hills to see beautifull sun set and a bird's eye view of a lovely Mysore city. Named after goddess Chamundi, the Chamundeshwari Temple sits atop the Chamundi hill. Approximately halfway to the summit is statue of bull Nandi, the vahana, or "vehicle" of Lord Shiva, which is 4.9m tall and 7.6m long and carved out of a single piece of black granite.

Return back to Bangalore/ Bengaluru city with lovely memories. Your Private chauffeur will drop you back to the hotel at the end of the tour.
