About this activity
This day begins with a guided visit to a famous winery located in Alfas del Pi village, about 6 km. from Benidorm. Your will be picked up from your hotel and after about fifteen minutes you’ll arrive to the winery.
During the guided visit a professional guide will explain you about the winemaking process, its preservation and much more, as you can appreciate the experimental fields of pruning, the conditioned room to store the final product, the bottling room and to finish the wine-cellar with more than 1.400 casks of American and French oak.
You’ll discover all the pleasures in wine, whether you are new in this world or if you are a passionate wine expert. Their wines are made from different varieties of grapes as Chardonnay and Muscatel in white wines, and Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir in red wines among others.
You’ll also taste several of these wines, all from the latest harvest, accompanied by a tasting of selected products with wine pairing. In the late morning you’ll take the wines of Alicante deep into your heart.

In the evening, you’ll learn how to make some of Spain’s most popular Tapas. If you like Spanish tapas this is your perfect class! Meet at the Cooking School located in Benidorm city centre and immediately you’ll swing into action.
You’ll be welcomed by the expert chef who will teach you step by step how to prepare five savory tapas, in a small group and a friendly atmosphere.
During the Class you’ll delight in an appetizer with tea or coffee. After you have tried your cooking skills it is time to enjoy your dishes with a great wine. Then, you’ll get the recipes and the apron as souvenir of this memorable and unique experience.
