Berlin's Bittersweet History: An Exclusive half-day Private walk with a Local

Itinerary

Join me on this walking expedition through Berlin. For this experience we will meet in front of the European House and check out the world famous Brandenburg Gate, we will continue and I will tell you more about the gruesome holocaust and you can check out the Holocaust Memorial. Next, I will tell you more about the East German Uprising, while we visit the memorial for the uprising of June 17. The historical path will then lead us to the topography of terror, where you will learn more about the history of repression under the Nazis. We will continue walking until we have reached the next sight: Checkpoint Charlie. It is the best-known Berlin wall crossing point, between the former East Berlin and West Berlin. After this you will have the chance to discover astonishing architecture at the Gendarmenmarkt. The last stop will be the Museum Island.
