Whether you wish to scout the fashionable boutiques around Hackescher Markt, enjoy a drink in one of the bars on the bustling Simon-Dach-Straße, or hunt for one-of-a-kind bargains at the Mauerpark flea market – our City Circle Purple Tour will introduce you to Berlin’s trendy areas Mitte, Kreuzberg, Friedrichshain and Prenzlauer Berg. The tour also has a historical component, as it travels along the path of the former Berlin Wall, giving you a sense of how the city up until 1989 was divided into East and West Berlin.

Another highlight of the City Circle Purple Tour is the Jewish Museum, which offers its visitors an overview of over two thousand years of German-Jewish history. Designed by the American star architect Daniel Libeskind, the unique architecture of the building serves to complement the exhibitions, and is worth a look for itself.

A total of 12 exciting sights await you on our City Circle Purple Tour. Thanks to our hop-on hop-off principle entering and exiting the tour is possible at all 12 stops. Our tour buses arrive at the different stops on the City Circle Purple line at 30-minute intervals, leaving you full freedom to determine how long you would like to stay and explore a site.

Taking the City Circle Purple Tour without stopping to get off is also possible. The whole tour takes circa 2 hours.
