After breakfast, you will be picked from your hotel for a visit to the Khandagiri Udayagiri caves. Built in the 1st Century BC, these caves are the earliest group of Jain rock cut shelters. The caves hold great importance for their history, rock-cut architecture, art and religion. Once the dwelling retreats or cells of the Jain ascetics, here visitors can feel the wisdom of the people of ancient time. King Kharavel and his Queen spend last part of their life in Hathi Gumpha and Rani Gumpha. All their activities are written in Palli language in Hathi Gumpha.

Stop At: Museum of Tribal Arts & Artifacts, National Highway 5 Gopabandhu Nagar, Bhubaneswar India

Then, visit the Tribal Museum to witness the fantastic tribal elements of Odisha. A rich collection of stone and wood sculptures, metal objects and images, weapons, and wooden objects, among other remarkable elements have been conserved here. Also, visit the State Museum that has interesting collections of archaeological findings, stone inscriptions, tools dating back to the Stone Age and Bronze Age, paintings, palm-leaf manuscripts and many more.

Stop At: Chausath Yogini Temple, Sevagram, Khajuraho 471606 India

Pay a visit to the Hirapur Chausath (64) Yogini Temple of Hirapur, 20 km out of Bhubaneshwar city. This 9th century temple is a tantric temple dedicated to 64 different Hindu Goddesses, and is built in a circular fashion with blocks of sandstone. Drive to Pipli, famous for its beautiful appliqué work.

Stop At: Ashokan Rock Edict, Dhauli 8 Km From Bhubaneswar, Bhubaneswar India

Also, visit the Dhauli Rock Edicts of Ashoka of the Mauryan Empire from the 3rd Century BC. It is this place where the famous King Ashoka converted to Buddhism and installed rock edicts to record his new maxim after the end of the great war of Kalinga in 262 BCE. Dhauli is now an important centre for Buddhism in India.

Stop At: Dhauli Shanti Stupa, Bhubaneswar, Odisha 752104, India

Evening, you will proceed to the Shanti Stupa for the Light and Sound Show; a spectacular retelling of the glorious history of ancient Odisha. At the end of the tour, you will be dropped back at the hotel.
