Your tour starts with a pick up from the hotel. As part of the tour, you will visit some of the most ancient temples of the city that were constructed in between 7th Century to 12th Century AD. Visit the Parasurameswar Temple, which is a fine specimen of the Oriyan (of Odisha) style of architecture with beautiful carvings of Hindu Gods and Goddesses; the Mukteswar Temple Complex from 10th Century AD that displays exquisite carvings and is a gem of ancient Odishan temple architecture

Also, pay a visit to the elegant reddish and yellow sandstone built Rajarani Temple from the 10th Century AD that features erotic sculptures; Brahmeswar Temple Complex for its remarkable towers; and the Lingaraj Temple Complex, which is one of the oldest and largest Hindu temples in the city. (Non-Hindus are not allowed inside Lingaraj Temple. We will show them on erected Platform).

Also, visit the Udayagiri and Khandagiri caves. Built in the 1st Century BC, these caves are the earliest group of Jain rock cut shelters. The caves hold great importance for their history, rock-cut architecture, art and religion. Once the dwelling retreats or cells of the Jain ascetics, here visitors can feel the wisdom of the people of ancient time. King Kharavel and his Queen spend last part of their life in Hathi Gumpha and Rani Gumpha. All their activities are written in Palli language in Hathi Gumpha.
