Guided tour to the vineyards and cellars of La Rioja from Bilbao with tasting for small groups

The purpose of the service is to offer visitors the possibility to access from Bilbao area, in a concentrated space of time, to the region of La Rioja, where you meet a unique landscape with a mix of art and different cultures and where you will visit vineyards and cellars settledon ancient settlements of more than 900 years old.The chosen site will be Briñas Township, where you will access to the vineyards of the places called Mocotero and Los Quiñones, with vineyards of over 70 years of production.Then you will go to Cellar Tobelos where, besides observing all its production process, you will be able to taste their wines accompanied with an aperitif with local products.Itineary09.15am - Departure from or around Bilbao

3.15pm - Arrival at the hotelYou will visit a very old farm where, besides observing vineyards of different ages and grades, will also have the chance to visit some archaeological sites, called the Fonsagrada which had a village, a chapel and its own cemeter.The Cellar Tobelos Bodegas y Viñedos, the first Cellar in the northwest entrance to La Rioja, located in one of the areas of most traditional Rioja wine, Briñas, sits as a step in a steep slope on the banks of the Ebro River, at the foot of the Sierra Cantabria mountains and Obareses with magnificent views of the Conchas de Haro and Los Riscos de Bilibio.After visiting the vineyards, where the Harvest is, you will visit all premises where tasks are performed: Selection, Elavoration, Micro vinification, AgingTo finish and enjoying stunning views of the Ebro River and different vineyards farms, you will enjoy a snack with products of the region and proceed to the tasting of different wines.
