About this activity
You set off from Bled towards Škocjan, where you visit the Škocjan Caves, which classify as the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Škocjan Caves are a unique natural phenomenon, the creation of the Reka river - an around four-kilometer long gorge that ends with a magnificent wall under which the river disappears into the underground. After visiting the Škocjan Caves, you head to the village of Predjama, where majestic Predjama Castle is located. The castle is carved into a cave entrance on a 123-meter high stone wall below which a small creek Lokva vanishes into the underground. You will explore the Renaissance castle and learn about its legend of Erazem of Predjama.
Your journey continues to the Slovenian coast, where you visit a small port town of Piran. It lies at the tip of the Piran peninsula and gives a charming impression with its narrow streets and tightly compressed houses. You also visit St. George Church, the Tartini Square, Venetian Loggia, the city harbor and more. Next, you make a stop in Portorož, a town known for its offer of entertainment and relaxation. Finish your day-trip by enjoying some free time next to the beautiful Adriatic Sea before returning to Bled.

Cave and Castle amazing, well worth seeing and time on the coast very interesting. Our driver, Peter, took us on a very interesting and informative tour of Piran and we also had a very good lunch at a restaurant recommended by the tour group.
