As Marlborough is the heart of the New Zealand wine region, wine tasting is usually on top of the list. The many wineries and cellar door hosts offer a truly personal experience to showcase their award winning wines all year round.

Treats of gourmet oils, liqueurs, chutneys, fudges and ice-cream/gelatos can be slipped in between your wine tasting. The local cheeses are also available, along with the Manuka honey, peanut butters, black garlic, smoked mushrooms and lots more for you to savor. Our local produce season from November through to February have road stalls offering asparagus, juicy cherries, strawberries, raspberries, apricots, nectarines and more.

Lunch venues can include a beautiful winery garden restaurant or even a chateau on the hill for the most amazing views of the valley. Wine tasting is available or enjoy a glass or bottle of wine with your choice on the local menu. Cheese platters are also offered at some of our cellar doors with your wine tasting.

If attending a Marlborough event or on business and prefer the privacy of your own chauffeured tour, your chauffeur/guide will create a custom itinerary to suit your requirements. Private appointments can be arranged for your specific industry. Some activities do require an entry fee and can be paid on the day direct to the provider or host. All wine tasting fees are included and lunch is at your own cost.
