About this activity
A small bus experience with no more than 18 aboard takes you on a delights tour circuit of Marlborough with the best highlights on the list.
Graham your friendly local driver (chauffeur) takes great care of you and you will not feel like a number on a bus he can assure you!
Listen to his stories of life in Marlborough and his humour is second to none. Watch out don't be caught!!!
Graham's tour has been providing wonderful tours to cruise passengers for over 7 years and is now being launched online and Graham will provide a varied and exciting itinerary just for you.
A speciality is the Omaka Aviation Museum and amazing displays of Peter Jackson's classic aircraft from WW1 and WW11. Entry fee is paid by you on the day if you choose this option.
A memorabilia store and café is there for you to enjoy when finished and the others will have been to just that extra wine tasting and can tell you all about it when Graham returns for you.
The scenic aspect of your trip is from beginning to end showing off the beautiful landscapes of the Marlborough wine region.
A stop for a light brunch, lunch or afternoon tea (at your cost) is part of your day.
All wine tastings are included in your tour.
Everyone loves CHOCOLATE.....a must stop before heading back to Picton for a delicious chocolate tasting and for some tempting to purchase.
Your tour will return to Picton in relaxed time frame to take the bus shuttle back to your ship.
Tour times are flexible according to your ships schedule.
The tour start time varies with each ship.
The general rule from the time of arriving at the wharf is that you need to allow 1.5 hours to arrive into the Picton Visitors Centre via the free bus shuttles.
Graham and all tour providers will be in the Picton Visitors Centre car park waiting by their vehicles. Graham will have a signboard with your name.
For ship's less than 1000 pax the bus shuttles may not be running. In this instance it is only a 2 minute walk from the ship to the Visitors Centre.
It could be possible to be collected from the ship if you advise the Port Authority officer at the wharf where you disembark to phone Graham.
Details can be provided on your voucher or if you are booking directly on line today all details will be provided in your confirmation receipt.
Remember the minimum seats for your booking is 12 for either a group or private group booking.
The maximum is 18.
Enquiry prior to booking is welcome. There are not many coasters available from Picton on cruise ship days so book well in advance for your personal middle size group.
