3-Day Caño Cristales from La Macarena with Accommodation

Itinerary

Day 1: BOGOTÁ – LA MACARENA CITY TOUR

Stop At: La Macarena, Calle 27 carrera 5, Bogota Colombia
Going from Bogotá, and according to availability and date of your reservation, you can choose between two options. You can meet us outside the door 4 at 5:30 AM, where you will board a bus that will take you to a V.I.P room, so you can board your charter flight. The second option is with the SATENA airlines. The flight to La Macarena will take approximately one hour. Then you will be transferred to the facilities of the environmental authority of the place to receive a talk on the rules that tourists should follow when visiting natural areas and the Macarena National Park. After that you will be transferred to your hotel, have a lunch, and meet the coordinators and guides of the tour. Finally, you will enjoy a city tour through La Macarena to know the most important sites.

Day 2: RIO GUAYABERO – CAÑO CRISTALES

Stop At: Cano Cristales, La Macarena Colombia
After breakfast, you will board a boat that will take you through the Guayabero river to La Cachivera where you will be driven in a 4×4 vehicle to the beginning of the trip. You will hike through trails assigned by the environmental authority which depend on the condition and carrying capacity of the natural site, as well as the reservation date and availability. On these trails you can appreciate the majesty of the Caño Cristales river, known as the multi-colored river. You will have some free time to bathe and admire this beautiful wonder of nature. After this, you will enjoy lunch and together with your guides, you will begin the return to the hotel.

Day 3: TRANSFER OUT

Stop At: La Macarena, Calle 27 carrera 5, Bogota Colombia
After breakfast, you will be transferred to La Macarena airport to take your flight back to the city of Bogotá in charter mode or with Satena airlines (subject to the availability based on the day of the reservation).
