This way you will get the best of Bogota in a few hours. You will begin by riding through the city center and you will roam through the vivid and enchanting neighborhood of La Candelaria. Being the oldest neighborhood in the capital, you will be able to see the contrast of the colorful colonial houses and the dynamic urban street art. You will have the chance of seeing this closer at Chorro de Quevedo, where you will make a short stop, to have a better comprehension of Colombias history. Then, you will keep on riding until you reach the Plaza de Bolivar. This square is the historical epicenter of the city. Surrounding the square you will find most significant and prestigious administrative and governmental buildings. They have become part of the capitals growth, history and the everyday life of locals. Here you will hear more about the squares history and everything thats going on in the present day. Next, you will ride through the Septima avenue which one of the main avenues in Bogota, but from the Plaza de Bolivar to the 26th street its only for pedestrians and cyclists. You will go to a market place where you will have the opportunity to try fruits you haven't even heard of (at your own expense). You will then keep on going through the 26th street where you will see several street art pieces with which you will learn about our cultural heritage, history, political and social situation. You will continue the tour by going to Teusaquillo, a neighborhood which was considered one of the most modern and elegant neighborhood in the 1930s. Well its architecture is very different from the rest of the city, well you will find English Victorian houses all through the area. There is a whole story behind this influence which you will learn as you ride through this wonderful neighborhood. Finally, you will go to the National Park, a big park located in the Eastern Hills of Bogota, between the Circunvalar avenue and the Septima avenue, and it was named a National Monument in 1996. Here you will take a break before heading back to return the bike and you will then be taken back to your hotel.
