Casa de Moneda, located next to the Botero Museum, houses the Numismatic Collection of the Bank of the Republic.

Here is where the first gold coins were minted in America in 1622.

Through its rooms, a tour through the history of Colombia is made, highlighting relevant facts of national life, the history of the property and the processes inherent to the production of coins and notes inserted in the historical context in which they circulated. The exhibition seeks to awaken the interest of the public, creating a modern and didactic exhibition, illustrated with graphics and objects that show the technical processes used in the production of coins and bills, and also allow visualize the architectural changes that the House had until the end of the twentieth century.
