Day 1: Arriving into Bogota and transfer to Salento – Horse-riding in the afternoon.
Pass By: Salento, Salento, Quindio Department
Flight from Bogota to Pereira. Collected from the airport and driven to Salento. Morning relaxing and exploring the town and the mirador. Afternoon 3-hour horseback ride nearby the town.

Day 2: Mountain bike around Valle del Cocora
Pass By: Vía al Valle del Cocora, Salento, Quindío, Colombia
Collected from the hotel for a day trip to Valle del Cocora (1hr journey to the starting point) Valle del Cocora is home to the largest palm in the world (up to 60m tall) which are known as Colombia's national tree. Set amid the misty green hills, they are breath-taking to behold. The valley is protected as part of Unesco's Coffee Cultural Landscape of Colombia Heritage Site. The mountain biking starts at 3100 meters and is all downhill descending back to Salento with numerous stops and the opportunity to view "La Carbonera". This is relatively easy but a great way to view the area. Afternoon collected from the hotel to be driven to a hotel near Pereira, as this is more convenient for the following day hike and transfer to the airport on the following day.

Day 3: Hiking in the Otun Quimbaya Flora y Fauna Sanctuary
Pass By: Otún Quimbaya, Pereira, Risaralda, Colombia
Collected from the hotel in Pereira for a trip to Otun Quimbaya (1 hr drive). The Sanctuary is located in the upper basin of the Otun river. It is in the transition zone between the sub-Andean- Andean forest and the buffer zone of the Los Nevado’s national nature park. Lots of options and distances to walk in this area. Heading back to the hotel in the afternoon.

Day 4: Flight at in the morning to Cartagena - Afternoon exploring the Old town.

Pass By: Isla Grande, Isla Grande, Islas de Rosario, Cartagena District, Bolivar Department
Day trip on a catamaran from Cartagena to the Rosario Islands. Snorkel and relaxing on a few of the best beaches in the area one of which is Isla Grande and is much less touristy than some of the other beaches.

Day 6: Cartagena City Tour
Pass By: Walled City of Cartagena, Calle 41, Cartagena 130002 Colombia
Collected from the hotel to learn about Cartagena’s history from a bilingual guide on a tour of this lively city. Private transport between the attractions. This trip visits the clock tower, Plaza Bolivar, and the Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas. You will also take in the sweeping views of the city from the hilltop Convento De La Popa and enjoy a walking tour from San Pedro Claver Church to Santo Domingo Church. After lunch heading to the airport for flight to Bogota. End of tour.
