About this activity
9:30 Departure from Bordeaux
10:30 Stop for your first château visit and tasting in the Fronsac appellation around Saint Emilion. At the confluence of the Isle & Dordogne rivers, at the top of the limestone plateau, this impressive Chateau overlooks the Dordogne valley and offers you a plunging view over the river.
Discover the labyrinth of underground cellars, 20 acres of caves, wind your way through 700 000 bottles of ageing wines. The visit ends with a tasting of 3 wines.
12:30 Lunch in a popular restaurant on the banks of the Dordogne river. Enjoy lovely views of the river and the busy little town that is nestled here.
