Full-Day Medoc Wine Tour from Bordeaux

My wife and I spent 3 days in Bordeaux and booked this tour to see the left bank wineries and wines of Bordeaux. We had a wonderful time on the tour driving past many of the famous Chateaus of the region and made 3 stops at 3 very different wineries which gave us an idea of the different variety in the area. One of the three visits wasn't very enjoyable but the other two made up for them! Plus we had time to stop for lunch in Saint Julien which was enjoyable. Our tour guide Lea was knowledge, friendly and did a great job showing us as much of the region in one day. Overall I would definitely recommend this tour!

Matt was a wonderful guide! We learned so much of the history of the region as well as of the wines and wine making. We visited some beautiful Chateaux and tasted great wines. A long day but well spent.

Our guide Simon was excellent. He met our group of 8 people at the assigned location and drove us to 3 different chateaus. Everything was completely streamlined and interesting. Each chateau was a bit different and Simon was careful to assure that we didn't keep hearing the same thing at each stop. Our lunch stop was comfortable and even though it was on a Sunday and many restaurants weren't open, Simon was able to give personal recommendations for several great places to eat. We had a bit of extra time after lunch so we were able to make an interesting stop to see some beautiful views. We have had good luck with all of our Viator experiences. The full day Wine tour did not disappoint!

Denis picked us up at the Bordeaux Visitor Center..He showed us a map of the area we were going to experience and gave us a history of wine making in the Medoc Region, explaining how soil , precipitation , and other factors contribute to the flavor of the wine. We enjoyed a lovely day touring 3 Chateaux and learning about modern wine making...stainless steel containers, control rooms, barrels used for only 3 years etc. He pointed out other famous chateaux including Lafitte Rothschild, which thrilled my travel companion. ..and made an extra stop for a wonderful photo op. 5 star all around

Great full day small group tour to medoc wine region. We were lucky to be the only two signed up for the day, so our tour was truly a small group that was personalized just for us. A lot of nice places to visit, tour and taste wine. Great stop for our lunch guide gave us options and really appreciated his recommendation it was excellent.

What great value for money!! Amy (?Amiele?) was an excellent driver, tour guide and wonderful company! Her suggestions were gold. We enjoyed the wineries she took us to and lunch was exactly right. I can not recommend this tour highly enough. It was so nice to have everything organised fir us!
