Day 1: Bordeaux, Margaux, Blaye 50km

Stop At: Chateau Desmirail, 28 avenue de la 5e Republique, 33460 Cantenac France
Start and end in Bordeaux for a three-day tour to Margaux, Blaye and Saint-Emilion in a convertible buggy equipped with a GPS tablet-guide. No need to be a wine aficionado to appreciate this self-guided buggy trip among Bordeaux's prestigious wine regions.

At the wheel of your storytelling convertible Buggy, you will explore Margaux's famous great growth Châteaux at your own rhythm, the UNESCO-listed Blaye Citadel and the medieval city and vineyards of Saint-Emilion.

Drive along charming small roads that follow the banks of the Gironde estuary, lined with numerous "Chartreuses" houses that were former holiday homes. Take the legendary “Route des Châteaux” all the way to Margaux. Open the door of an 1855 "Grand Cru" Château and to a lovely family property, discover the secrets of wine-making and taste the wine.
Take the ferry across the Gironde estuary to reach Blaye and its famous Citadel.Take a drive along the Dordogne river through the Blaye then Fronsac vineyards,
Admire the legendary Petrus, Cheval Blanc and Angelus Châteaux near Pomerol. Later enjoy a guided tour of Saint-Emilion famous Monolithic Church.
Your buggy, equipped with a multimedia tablet-guide, is a storytelling vehicle that offers quality commentaries all along the way. Relax, your tablet also comes with a GPS that will take you to your destination.
Would you like to make a stop at an open-air café along the river or for a photo opportunity? Great local places are indicated throughout your trip. You are guided, but free to make stops or detours as and when you please, according to suggestions offered by your tablet.
