Urban Wine Tour: Chateaux & wine bars - An original discovery of Bordeaux wines

Every Saturday morning from 9.30 am to 1.15 pmthe Urban Wine Tour takes you through the different forms of tasting: both inside a famous Bordeaux winery and in a wine bar.

 09:30 am: departure from the Bordeaux Tourist Office by coach with a live guide in French and English

10.30 am: visit and tasting at a wine chateau situated in the close Bordeaux surroundings: Medoc, Graves or Bordeaux Superieur appellation.

12.15 pm: tasting in a wine bar in Bordeaux city center.It is the opportunity to talk about differnet topics depending on the wine bar sommelier: blind tasting, a Bordeaux grape varieties comparison to their implantations abroad, the barrel influence on wines...You will discover also some local specialties and learn about the pairing of food and wine.

01.15 pm: end of the tour. You can stay in the wine bar to enjoy the atmosphere.

Selected chateaux: Château Saint-Ahon, château du Taillan, château Luche-Halde, château Pape-Clément, château Les Carmes Haut-Brion, château Sainte-Barbe

Selected wine bars: La Ligne Rouge, l'Oenolimit, l'Officine, The Wine Bar du Boutique Hotel, le Métropolitain

The prices includes the transportation by coach, the professional guide (French and English), the visit and wine tasting at the chateau and the wine animation at the wine bar with accompanied cheese or charcuterie.

The minimum of persons required is 5; Maximum 25.Â
