Stop At: North End, Boston, MA 02109

This walking tour begins INSIDE of the street-level lobby of 296 State Street, which is also known as the Boston Marriott Long Wharf. Our group will convene at the foot of the escalator. The tour starts at 10:00 a.m., with the exception of Saturdays, when it begins at 9:30 a.m.

On Fridays and Saturdays only, our tour route will bring us through the 200+-year-old Haymarket Market, where we'll enjoy meet-and-greets with a few vendors, and, depending upon availability, will sample exotic fruits. Next up, the Boston Public Market, which houses thirty-five local food vendors. Here, we'll enjoy a regional doughnut (okay, maybe two!), infused maple syrups, one of Boston's best lobster rolls, and flavored roasted nuts. Iconic chowder/lunch follows at a historical restaurant that Forbes has recognized as one of the world's Ten Classics. After lunch, we'll visit the North End/Little Italy, where we'll experience two hidden gems: a three-time Best of Boston Bread Bakery, and a salumeria that was featured in 2018 on the Travel Channel's Zimmern's List, AND the Food Network's "Beat Thing That I Ever Ate". Our final stop: A well-known bakery (institution, really) whose cannoli appears on Thrillist's top 50 must eats in Boston. You didn't think we'd let you leave us without one, did you?

Our tour guide Audrey was amazing! She provided rich descriptions of each food we sampled which made each stop special in its own way. This was our first foodie tour and we are already booking our next one!

Tour was fantastic. The trip thru the farmers market was very enjoyable. The guide had us sample several vendors. The chowder was great. Very much enjoyed the trek into little Italy. This tour will not disappoint!

We definitely went with the right company, as we went to two restaurants that were on my must visit list. The lobster roll was fantastic - so fresh - and I don't even like lobster. I actually tried 3 things I had never eaten before and all were delicious. Our guide was super knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely go on another tour with Boston Foodie!
