Very nice. We wentLabor Day weekend , so we got an extra bonus and experienced fire works over the water also.
Our party of 4 had a great time on the sunset cruise and our narrator /guide was fantastic! I would recommend this Harbor tour to all interested in a relaxing cruise with the bonus of learning a great deal about the city of Boston.
All good - only slight issue was there was a school trip on our tour and they didn't really care what they were doing on the boat running about up and down the boat - ruined the relaxing part of the cruise for myself and a lot of other people on the boat. other than that was a nice tour
Excellent!!
everyone had a wonderful time. viator staff was very helpful.
everyone associated with the tour was very pleasant and helpful.
This was a bit of a disappointment most of which was the fault of the cruise operator. This was billed as a sunset cruise but the starting time was almost 80 minutes before sunset. The boat headed back to the dock at sunset. As a result, there was not much time to see the Boston sky line after dark. Boarding was chaotic with no clear boarding line. We got into what appeared to be the line only to be told by a cruise person to get out of line and go to another boarding platform. Once on the boat we found that seating consisted of folding chairs and, like most cruises, seating was first come first served. After a safety announcement, the cruise wandered along the Boston Waterfront towards the end of the airport runway. The narration, what little of it there was, was almost inaudible. Immediately, people from the lower deck started to block ladders and aisle ways creating safety hazards the crew only made half heated attempts to enforce safety rules. Soon the boat was in fog. It was kind of neat watching jets come out of the fog right over our heads. The last of the cruise was waiting for the sunset cannon to fire from the pier next to the USS Constitution. The boat headed back to the dock right after the cannon fired. So much for a sunset cruise.
The voucher I printed out clearly stated that it would be accepted as our ticket. We stood in a very very long line only to be told that they were not accepted and that we would have to go to a ticket booth and exchange the voucher for tickets. We came early in order to get a good seat, but this made us one of the last to board. The speaker was so muddled that you could not understand anything that he said. The cruise on the water was beautiful, and we did enjoy the scenery...just didn't know what was being said. The description of the lowering of the flag, etc., is very misleading.
