About this activity
Your guide will meet at 10:30h Outside the Bournemouth Library, wich is located near The Triangle and Bournemouth Square. Some safety instructions will be given, then we start the 6,5KM route in a guided tour from the beautiful Lower Gardens, passing by (externally only) Cenotaph Bournemouth War Memorial, Richmond Hill St. Andrew's Church, The Pavillion Theatre, Bournemouth Pier, Russel Courts art Gallery, Red Arrows Memorial, a long stretch of East Cliff with wonderful views of Old Harry Rock's in Purbeck island, enjoy the stunning Boscombe Gardens and its marvellous pier where we may have a brief stop for a drink (at your own expense) before we head back to our starting point via the amazing promenade by the beach. All this while your guide will tell you a bit of the history of Bournemouth, its people and most prominent spots.
