About this activity

Meet your driver at a central Bovec location (to be arranged) at 8:30 am. Then, spend some time getting acquainted with your kayak instructor who will provide an orientation to the river and the course. After receiving all of your kayaking gear, take a short drive to an entrance point on the Soča River, which will be determined by the instructor based on water levels and your prior knowledge and experience.

After putting on your gear, learn about the laws of water flow and the techniques to use when met with demanding situations in the water. In your 3 – 6 Mile (5 – 10 km) descent of the Soča River, you will put into practice the techniques you have learned and build on your knowledge so that you can relax and safely enjoy your kayaking experience.

Each day at the end of your trip, our driver will be waiting to transport you back to Bovec. Upon return, we will conduct a short analysis of your progress, review the day, and agree on the next day’s plan.
