Branson Hike & Fish Hatchery Tour

Today's adventure is the perfect day exploring the Ozarks. We will start our journey at Roaring River Park, located in a narrow valley surrounded by a gorgeous rugged landscape. The drive to the trailhead alone is a site to see in this beautiful State Park. We will hike around 2 miles with an elevation change of 300 ft. The landscape will not disappoint you! We will hike through dense woodlands, open dolomite glades, springs and streams.On our drive back out, do not forget to look out the windows at the collection of natural waterfalls in the streams and see the gathering of fly fishermen at every corner.
After the hike we will explore the beautiful fish hatcheries at Shepherd of the Hills Conservation Area, the largest trout-rearing facility operated by the Missouri Department of Conservation. The hatchery produces between 350,000 and 400,000 pounds of trout each year. Relax as we head back to Branson after a morning of exploring one of the greater sites in the Ozarks.
