Day 1: Bucharest - Vama Buzaului - Dalghiu

Stop At: Cimitirul Eroilor Tabla Butii, Cerasu, Romania
Tartar Ridge is a passage situated at 1.340 m altitude, an important trade route in Antiquity and in the Middle Ages which connects the center of Wallachia with Transylvania. Nowadays, you can walk on forest roads and tourist trails to admire a spectacular nature and to hear the incredible story of a stone fortress destroyed by Cumanians and Tartars and rebuilt by the Teutonic knights between 1211 – 1225, whose history continued until the 20-th century during the First World War.

Stop At: Vama Buzaului skating rink, Vama Buzăului 507245, Romania
For lunch we will stop at a sheepfold where you can taste traditional food like Bulz (polenta with different types of cheese).

Stop At: Cascada Urlătoarea, Vama Buzăului 507245, Romania
with a height of 15 meters and an impressive flow, the waterfall has earned its name due to the noise it produces. You can safely walk to the top of the waterfall and admire the landscape. So did Queen Mary, the grandmother of King Michael I. It is said that, in her riding walks, she stopped 300 meters above the waterfall to rest on the “Queen’s Bench- a stone in a shape of a royal seat.

• Lunch: Experience lunch at a sheepfold by tasting the traditional "bulz" (polenta with different types of cheese).
• Dinner: Experience local dishes.
Accommodation included: Our 4x4 adventure day will finish in Dalghiu where we will spend the night at a beautiful 3-star tourist lodge.

Day 2: Dalghiu - Prejmer - Brasov

Stop At: Peasant Fortified Church at Prejmer, East side of the Brasov Depression, Prejmer 507165 Romania
Prejmer fortified church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest fortified church in Southeastern Europe. The church was built by Teutonic Knights in 1212.

Stop At: Brasov Historical Center, Piazza Sfatului, Brasov Romania
Black Church a500-year-old Black Church is the most representative monument in Brasov and the largest Gothic church in Transylvania. The construction of this Gothic Evangelic church initially called Saint Mary’s Church, began around 1380 and was finalized in 1477. The Black Church, the largest holly place in Gothic style in south-eastern Europe, has a capacity of 5,000 people, is 90 meters long and 37 meters high and the cross’ tower measures 65 meters.

Stop At: Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle), Str. General Traian Mosoiu nr. 24, Bran 507025 Romania
Dracula’s Castle is a national monument and one of the most important Romanian landmarks. The castle began its life as a wooden citadel in the 13th century built by the Teutonic Knights and changed its outer appearance with time, adapting to the purpose it served. In 1920 the castle became a royal residence within the Kingdom of Romania.

Day 3: Rasnov - Rucar - Bucharest

Stop At: Poiana Mărului, Strada Dosul Cerbului 453C, 905504, Romania
Visiting medieval and picturesque villages from Transylvania surrounded by gorgeous landscapes over Bucegi Mountains.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Rasnov Citadel, Unirii Square no. 12, Rasnov 505400 Romania
Rasnov Citadel one of the best kept fortification of Transylvania. It was built by Teutonic Knights as protection against invading Tartars and was later enlarged by the local Saxon population. Strategically located on the commercial route linking the provinces of Transylvania and Walachia, Rasnov used to shelter at least 30 houses, a school, a chapel and other buildings commonly associated with a village. The defensive system included nine towers, two bastions and a drawbridge. The view from the top of the castle hill is absolutely spectacular.

Stop At: Dambovicioara Cave, 1 km North of Dambovicioara Village, Dambovicioara 117355 Romania
Dambovicioara Gorges a wonderful place for nature lovers, you will be amazed by its beauty, by the imposing stature of the cliffs, how a river only 1-2 m wide can create a natural wonder unique in the world. The Valley is 1254m high and it offers magnificent and unique scenery.
