About this activity
Your guide will meet you in the Council City Square ( Piata Sfatului ) in Brasov, where from the trip along the southern part of Transylvania will begin. You're journey will start at 8 AM and will finish in the exact same place 7 hours later. Soon as everybody shows up will jump on your AC coach and head towards the Bear Sanctuary first. The place is a little corner of heaven for the bears gathered from different zoos from across the country. The City Council from Zarnesti brought together tens of brown bears and one black Asian bear. Your next stop is Bran Castle also known as Dracula's Castle , home of the most famous vampire in the world. The imposing structure was built between 1377-1382 by the Hungarian king Ludovic I d'Anjou . For centuries it was the most important military fortress on the southern part of the Empire considered by many The GATE OF EUROPE . It was made famous world wide 500 years after was build by the Irishman Bram Stoker after he wrote the novel having the main character a Wallahian king VLAD II DRACULA.
Last part of your tour is Brasov's medieval town . Once arrived in the place where you started from will start exploring the little narrow streets , will focus on the medieval structures build in baroque and gothic style , here where talking about specially about the famous Black Church , the biggest ecclesiastical structure between Vienna and Istanbul.

Greg was very knowledgeable and very accommodating as I had booked the wrong week and had to change the date. This was no problem at all. The tour of Brasov was great and we learned a lot about the history of the place. The bears were good - but you don't pay extraneous to take pictures with a camera as you cant get clear shots without fences and you can take pictures on your phone for free. Bran castle was great too. Greg was polite and knowledgeable, the meal was great and all in all I cant complain at all. Well worth the expense.
Fantastic day visiting the beautiful Braşov, Bran Castle and Liberty Bear Sanctuary in the snow. Greg, our guide, was friendly and amazingly knowledgable about all aspects of our day including a fantastic lunch. Excellent value for money and highly recommended!
