SnowShoe Tour near Brasov

Meeting is at our rental shop located at Hotel Alpin in Poiana Brasov. There you can pick up the right size of snowshoe for you.

We will also provide ski walking poles. 

After the group is set we will start with a short learning session, where you will be introduce into the basic skill of walking with snowshoes.

Then the group/individuals will start the walk through the forest and over the hills, through deep snow and on some steep slopes.

This will be a great walk to remember. 

We will return to the starting point at the end of the walk. Alternatively, the group can decide together with the guide to finish the tour in a different location where from we can organize the return transfer by private vehicle or by local bus service.

Using the snowshoes gives you the flexibility to enjoy the winter cold season. You will need normal walking boots as the snowshoes have adjustable straps and will fit on any boots. We also have small sizes for children and ladies.

It is great also for families with children over 8years old.

Note: in case of lack of snow for this activity, an alternative area will be offered, that might involve also a short car transfer. The transfer can be organized with your vehicle, or with our vehicle at a small extra cost for the petrol.
