Basic Bratislava Tour

You will get familiar with the urban development of Bratislava, its main monuments and historical events as well as some funny anecdotes. Our tour will begin in front of the Primate's Palace on Primate's Square (Primacialne namestie), which is one of the nicest palaces built in the Old Town. We will visit the Old Town Hall with its romantic courtyard and the Main Square, that reflects the events of the past eight centuries. Just a few steps away is the oldest preserved church, part of the quiet Franciscan monastery. Michalska Street (with St. Michael's Tower) is the busiest artery of the Old Town with many beautiful palaces and the Academia Istropolitana College. We will proceed to St. Martin's Cathedral and from there down to the liveliest square in town, named after the Slovak poet P. O. Hviezdoslav. Moreover, I will show you the best souvenir shops, trendy cafes and restaurants and give you some useful tips and hints. In a little bit more than an hour you can get the best of historical centre.
