Stop At: Active Travel Slovakia, Grosslingova 4, Vysoke Tatry 81109 Slovakia

The Old Town is beautiful, but it is relatively small, and you can explore it in 2 hours. We'll show you the most important places in the city center, such as the unique Nedbalka gallery, St. Martin's Cathedral - where Maria Theresa was crowned - and more famous streets and places. However, we will show you more than just the Old Town. We will take you to some hidden places in Bratislava and the surrounding area.
We'll pick you up from your hotel and start the tour. First, you'll see the famous and popular Blue Church, the inverse pyramid Slovak television and radio building, and then we'll go up the Bratislava castle hill, and cross narrow streets up to the Slavín memorial. From here, we'll have the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful view of the city. Subsequently, we will move on to Devín castle, which stands on a steep cliff, on the banks of the Morava and Danube rivers, at the exact place where barbed wire fences once formed the border with Austria. Then, we will see another part of the border, where we'll visit a bunker built in the 1930 as the part of the defense system of the former Czechoslovakia. From there, by the park Sad Janka Krála, the oldest public park in Europe, we will move along the Danube river up to an artificial island to visit the Danubiana Modern Art Gallery.
After a coffee break, we will head back to Bratislava.
