About this activity
Pedal serene bike paths and experience Colorado’s vibrant and booming craft-brewing scene. Choose between two tour options: the Best of Breckenridge and Frisco or the Best of Dillon and Silverthorne.

Option 1: Best of Breckenridge and Frisco

Starting out the tour, head to Backcountry Brewery in Frisco. Experience the best brews with their 30 years of brewing experience. Backcountry Brewery has garnered six Great American Beer Fest gold and silver medals, adding up to outstanding beer.

Next, visit Broken Compass Brewing, Breckenridge’s newest brewery. Offerings include Belgian Wit and Coconut Porter. The brewery has won a bronze medal in the Field Beers category at the 2015 Great American Beer Fest.

Finally, stop at Breckenridge Brewery. This is Colorado’s third craft brewery, which opened its doors in historic Breckenridge in 1990. From a broad selection of beers that are available year-around to seasonal favorites, there’s a beer for every taste.

Please note: this tour is customizable and based on cycling abilities. Alterations can be made to omit Frisco and include the Breckenridge Distillery.

Option 2: Best of Dillon & Silverthorne

Established in 1997, the first stop is Pug Ryan’s, a brewery offering up an assortment of brews to satisfy the most discriminating hophead. Try the Morningwood Wheat, a lightly filtered, easy-to-drink beer, and a local’s favorite.

Later, pedal on over to the Bakers’ Brewery. The bakery and brew pub features a selection of session beers designed for those new to the micro-brew scene, along with bold beers for the micro-brew connoisseur.

Finally, stop at Dillon Dam Brewery, the largest brewpub in the Colorado Rockies. There are up to 13 Dam beers on tap, including seasonal, session, and BIG BOLD beers.
