About this activity
The Royal Pavilion was built as King George IV’s pleasure palace when Brighton was at the heart of fashionable Regency society, and it remains one of Britain’s most eccentric and extravagant palaces, previously occupied by three monarchs George IV, King William IV and Queen Victoria. Today it has been restored to its original 1823 splendour with Indian-style architecture contrasted with interiors inspired by China.

Take to the skies to see Brighton and the beautiful south coast as you have never seen them before on British Airways i360. Glide up gently to 450ft and admire 360-degree views across Brighton & Hove, the South Downs National Park, the UNESCO Biosphere and, on the clearest days, all the way along the coast to the Isle of Wight (49 miles away).

SEA LIFE Brighton is the world’s oldest operating aquarium and is home to over 3,500 mesmerising creatures including turtles, seahorses and sharks. For an extra charge families can take a glass bottom boat ride, or book a behind-the-scenes tour.
