Your full-day tour starts with morning pickup at the Jen Hotel in Brisbane followed by a one-hour drive in an air-conditioned minivan to reach the legendary Australia Zoo.
Enjoy about four hours on your own to explore the fascinating exhibits at Australia Zoo. The Africa exhibit features spacious plains like the African Savannah where rhinos, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras and other exotic animals live. Get close views of Sumatran felines at the Tiger Temple, and feel your heart race as crocodiles emerge from clear water pools during the Crocoseum show.
From time to time, handlers walk animals through the park, giving you the opportunity for an up-close encounter. You can also participate in a Birds of Prey experience or meet Outback stars like the dingo, wombat, lemur and tortoise. You can even hand-feed kangaroos and pat a cuddly koala. Enjoy mountain scenery and a cooler climate as you approach the town of Montville, which sits at 1,310 feet (400 meters) above sea level. Admire the town’s eye-catching architecture as you walk the streets lined with art galleries, wineries, and restaurants. There is even enough time to pop into boutiques selling items such as handmade candy, cheese, clothing and crafts.
Then continue down the road to Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve. Your guide leads you on an optional walk through the rain forest’s towering trees and vibrant plant life. Looking across the Hinterlands, snap photos of the Glass House Mountains and views that extend all the way to the Coral Sea.
Return to your starting point in Brisbane in the early evening at the end of your 9-hour tour.

What a wonderful Zoo. Great rime.
Not value for money. Suggest - go by public transport and buy the 59 entry at the Zoo. Had to pay extra for hotel pick up and then extra to be picked up at the Zoo to rejoin our bus which had taken others to Noosa. Bus was uncomfortable with poor visibility especially at the back of the bus due to advertising.
