About this activity
Meet your guide in the parking lot at Mt. Ngungun to begin your abseiling tour. Collect your allocated safety equipment, and walk in to the first site, where you'll be taken through a safety introduction prior to your first abseil. Once everyone is familiar with the equipment, start your abseils; the final rappel of the day is usually a 40-meter drop down sheer cliffs, from which you will walk back to the meeting point with your group. Typically, you'll be back at the car park by 2:30pm.

The guide-to-participant ration is kept small to ensure you get the most out of your experience in the Glass House Mountains. Designed for anyone with a sense of adventure or a love of the outdoors, this activity gives you the opportunity to be challenged and soak up the natural environment of the eucalyptus forest. The Mt. Ngungun summit boasts a 360-degree view of the national park, including three other nearby mountains.
