This garden covers an area of 52 ha and has a large number of different gardens including the Fern House, Japanese Gardens, Bonsai House, Cactus and Aloe Gardens, Lakes, Pine and Bunya Nut trees along with many others.

The inner city Botanic Gardens are situated alongside the meandering Brisbane River. It has a variety of local and imported trees including the magnificient local Moreton Bay Fig trees. It is an easy walk to view a variety of beautiful plants.
