About this activity
After leaving Brisbane at 7:45am, you will enjoy a 4-wheel drive adventure up the mountain. Then stop for morning tea where there will be a chance to spot some koalas and wallabies. After relaxing, it will be back in the 4 wheeler and off to O'Reilly's Tree Top Canopy Walk, which gives you the opportunity to enjoy a unique 30-minute walk though the rain forest canopy at close range and be surrounded by the many animals and birds that inhabit the tree tops. This walk spans 590 feet (180 meters) and is made up of nine suspension bridges with much of the walkway being 49 feet (15 meters) above ground. It's a truly unique way to view this beautiful rain forest.
After your lunch, you will be taken on a 1-hour guided walk though the rain forest. You will head back in the 4-wheel drive through the forest, giving you the real experience of the Australian bush from a new perspective. Keep a lookout for Eastern Grey Kangaroo's. Arrive back in Brisbane around 4pm.

Really well organised trip, enjoyed by parents plus older teenage daughters. The owner and guide Steve was really hospitable, knowledgeable and good company for the day. Trip involved drive to Lamington, quite a hairy but safe 4-wheel drive up into the park, and then a fascinating walk around the forest looking at local wildlife, flora and fauna. Lots of opportunities to take photos and learn about the area. We all had a great day, and a surprisingly good picnic lunch. The views are spectacular, and Steve took some photos as well which he sent on to us. Thoroughly recommend it if you like getting into nature and are fit enough to walk for a couple of kilometres on a forest path.
