Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Flight at the Bristol Balloon Fiesta

When your flight is confirmed, we will send full meeting instructions and a plan of Ashton Court, where the Balloon Fiesta is held. If you are travelling by car, please book parking in advance via the Balloon Fiesta website, as it gets very busy and the flight will go-ahead if you are late and you will loose your chance to fly.

A team member, will meet you at the Passenger Boarding Area and escort you to your balloon. The Pilot will give you a full safety briefing and then the balloon will be inflated. When it is stood up, you will be invited to climb in and the Pilot will show you the landing position which you will need to adopt later. Then we go on our magical flight for about an hour and find a suitable field to land the balloon. The retrieve crew arrive in the Land Rover and we all pack away the balloon, then return to Ashton Court to celebrate the flight with a glass of Champagne. The flight usually takes about an hour, but the whole experience lasts about 3-4 hours. Make sure you bring your camera and dress sensibly - as you might do for a walk in the country, oh and a baseball cap is a good idea.
