About this activity
You can choose between to visit the most popular Punkevni Caves with underground river or the most beautiful and the longest cave Sloup with two floors and enchanting stalactite Katerinska cave.

Punkevni Caves:
The Moravian Karst is one of the most important karst areas in Central Europe. Throughout the territory, there are more than 1100 caves. One of the few accessible ones is abyss Macocha with a depth of 138 meters. On arrival, we change the bus for eco-train that brings us to the cave. Then we sail the river Punkva, which feeds two rock pools and flows through rock massifs in the Punkva caves. From there, we climb by cable car to the Upper bridge. A view into the depths of the Macocha abyss from the Upper or Lower bridge gives us an unforgettable experience. On the way back we stop at the pilgrimage church Křtiny, built in the 18th century. At the end you will be taken to your hotel. 

Caves Sloup and Katerinska:
First you will go to the Sloup (column) - Sosuvka caves is an important place where cave carcasses animal have been found. Elizabeth's Cave With its rich decoration Stalactite also has an excellent acoustics and that is why it is sometimes used for chamber music concerts. Nagel Chasm, 80 meters in depth, with the greatest underground abyss of this type in the Czech Republic. From the two-platform bridges the visitors can look down to the bottom. Sosuvka's area, discovered at the beginning of 20th century is characterized by fragile and colour Stalactite and Stalagmite decoration. Route in Sloup-Sosuvka caves are adapted for wheelchairs.

After lunch you will visit the Katerinska cave which can be found in the deep canyon of the Suchy Zleb. The access is through an entrance corridor leading to the “Main Hall”, known for ages. The “Main Hall” is the largest underground space accessible to the public to be found on the territory of the Czech Republic. For its excellent acoustics the cave is occasionally used for vocal and instrumental concerts. The beauties of the cave include the stalagmite “Witch”, lit by spot-lights of different colours. The entrance portal is a significant archaeological and palaeontological monument. At the end you will be taken to your hotel.
