Region of Attractive Delights: Best of South Moravia Day Trip from Brno

An English Gothic style breathes on you when walking through the premises and surroundings of the Lednice chateau. Our excursion of the castle takes us to the ground premises to find beautiful rooms used for various social occasions. Sail on a boat across the chateau lake toward your next stop, the Arabian Minaret. From the 18th century minaret, a wonderful view on the castle grounds will amaze you. Once again sail across the lake where your coach will take you to nearby Mikulov. Have lunch in one of the local restaurants. Then take a stroll through the way of cross to the Holy Hill, one of the oldest pilgrimage sites in South Moravia. During the journey, pass around fourteen chapels, bell tower, and the Chapel of the Holy Sepulchre.

Your guide will introduce you the the traditions of South Moravia and rich folklore that you will discover in a local wine cellar where the tour ends. During the visit in the castle cellar, learn the basics of the wine production, see the historical press, but most importantly a giant cask of wine from 1643 attracts our attention.
