This was a fantastic trip which included a visit to two beautiful chateaux, a delicious lunch, marvellous wine tasting and finally a visit to pretty Mikulov. Our guide Jana was brilliant - she spoke excellent English whilst being both chatty and informative. We became fast friends after a lovely lunch and an amazing visit to the wine cellars where Jana looked after us and poured as many taasters as we could manage from a vast selection! The whole day was so very memorable, and if we had a longer holiday would definitely have booked onto another of the day trips on offer. Thank you Jana, J and C.

Jana, our tour guide, took us on a wonderful tour of the area. We got to see castles, chateaus, forts and amazing gardens with canals and minarets. We also had a delicious lunch in a lovely Czech restaurant. We loved the extensive range of wines at the Voltice National Czech Republic Salon and having our own English speaking Somnelier to give us a little background on a few. Each year they chose 100 best wines from The Republic to put in the salon for display and tasting - excellent marketing and promotion. Jana ended the day by taking us for some local Burcak, which we had heard about and is only available during harvesting of the grapes. What a lovely day

She tried her best but she was a novice and the tour was less than expected.
