This tour was not in English, it was in every other language possible. I booked English, not Spanish, French, or dutch.

The tour company provided very good service. The guide was very professional and well informed. I'd like to visit again in the off season (if there is one). It's a lovely scenic place but was packed with tourists (like me) which made everything crowded.

Excellent tour despite the bad weather. I would only recommend that the company make it more obvious when booking that they don't pick up at every hotel as that's what we were expecting and it wasn't the case. Our hotel wasn't on the pick up list.

This was our second tour sponsored by Viator. As good as our tour outside of Amsterdam was, the one we took to Bruges was incredibly disappointing. Firstly, we were told to be ready at 9:30 for a bus pick-up near our Brussels hotel. We were picked up at 9:45 and brought to a second bus that was the one going to Bruges but we sat on the bus until 10:30 am waiting for late arriving passengers. No explanation was provided....we just sat and sat and sat for over 30 minutes....... Once the tour to Bruges commenced, we were shocked to find out that the tour would be in 3 languages...english, French and Spanish. That meant that everything the guide said throughout the day had to be told over and over and over in 3 languages. It made a long day that much longer. The trip also advertised that there would be a voluntary canal cruise you could take once in Bruges. Once we arrived in Bruges, we weren't given an option - we were told the price and the guide stated it was part of the day's itinerary. Once we were on the small boat for the cruise which our guide didn't even bother to take with us, the skipper of the boat stated to us no less than 3 times that tips to him would be greatly appreciated and had his hand out expecting his tip as each person departed the boat. Everything about this tour was very unprofessional.....

Not worth the money, given a number of drawbacks. To begin with, an overly brisk trout of more than a third of a mile to get from Brussels Tours office to the bus. Complaint to the guide Frank went unacknowledged he was clearly more interested in getting to his next cigarette break than in the safety and comfort of his group. The entire tour, which involved considerable walking to and from buses should have been advised so client could make a considered decision, at a rapid pace, though others in the group also hobbling. Guide unlikeable, at least in stilted, at times heavily accented English, but English clients were appended to a largely Spanish tour group. The guide took a commission of 3-4 on the boat tour, which evidently was condoned by operator, since not included - as it should have been in the price of the tour. The boat tour, at least in English, was largely incomprehensible. All things considered, one would be better off taking the train with a good guide book.
