The Grand-Place is the central square of the City of Brussels. All over the world it is known for its decorative and aesthetic wealth and is considered as one of the most beautiful places of the world. The Grand-Place of Brussels was registered on the World Heritage List of the UNESCO in 1998.

Les Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert is a fashionable shopping area in Brussels. The place is divided into two main sections and houses a number of luxury boutique shops, restaurants, cinema and a theatre also. It is a charming place that is frequented by the visitors for entertainment as well as shopping.

Manneken-Pis was at first a fountain that played an essential role in the former distribution of drinking water since the 15th century. The system was well-known in all of Europe.

Towards the end of the 17th century, the statue became more and more important in the city life. It was also a survivor of the bombardment of Brussels in 1695. Manneken-Pis became a precious good and enjoys a ceaselessly growing glory.

An ancient indoor market, transformed into a bar and exhibition centre. A beautiful example of the architecture at the turn-of-the-century in Brussels.

This neighbourhood once was the port of Brussels. Today, there are numerous shops, food businesses and restaurants adjoining the Fish Market. Port activities carried on here until the early 20th century, when the docks were filled in.

Built in 1873, in neoclassical style, the old stock exchange building features very ornate decorations that have been described by some people as baroque excesses.

The city’s L’Ilot Sacre (“Sacred Island”) quarter, is a tiny area with just three to four streets, is the most historic part of Brussels as this is where the first merchants and fishermen settled down.
