3 Days Halloween in Transylvania

Day 1 Bucharest – Sinaia - Brasov - Bran
Departure time: 09:00 AM from Bucharest.
Your travel guide will pick you up from your hotel and we will start our journey by heading to Transylvania.
Our first stop will be at a small chapel on an islet in the middle of a lake, inhabited by only one monk. The former church is now in the depths, covered by waters, and people say that on stormy days its sunken bell can be heard tolling.
Our next stop will be in Sinaia at the Peles Castle which was used as a summer residence by the kings of Romania. Located near the mountains, it was built in the 19th century and visited by some important personalities: Kaiser Franz Joseph I of Austria-Hungary, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Muammar al-Gaddafi and Yasser Arafat. We continue our journey is Brasov, an old medieval city at the foot of the Carpathians, surrounded by thick defense walls. The middle age atmosphere is best captured in the old city center with gothic, baroque and renaissance architecture. Here we will visit the Black Church, the famous Gothic cathedral and the largest in Southeastern Europe. Not far you will have the opportunity to walk on the narrowest street in Europe!
Dinner in Brasov in a medieval restaurant and transfer to Bran.

Day 2 Bran – Sighisoara – Bran (Halloween Party)

In the morning we’ll reach Biertan, the religious center for the Saxons in Transylvania dating back to the middle ages. Next we continue to Sighisoara which is closely related to the origins of prince Vlad, without whom Dracula’s legend would have never existed. The town has one of the few European fortresses still inhabited. As we walk on the cobblestone streets we will make a stop at the Clock Tower and at a house turned into a restaurant. This place is where Vlad Dracul was born.
We will head to Bran in order to get ready for the Halloween party. You will have the unique chance to visit the castle lit by candlelight where you will be guided by Count Dracula himself. Your tour will include the castles mysterious and spookiest chambers and even the prison. Next it’s time to enjoy the Halloween party with red wine in a specific decor in one of the scariest castles in the world. Next we will move the party outside, to the Gala Tent in the Royal Park where new surprises await.

Day 3 Bran - Bucharest

Departure time: 11:00 PM
Today you will be transferred back to Bucharest.
You will arrive at approximately 14:30 and you will have the whole day to discover the city on your own.
