Itinerary

Day 1: Bucharest - Peles Castle - Brasov Sightseeing Tour & Accommodation

Stop At: Peles Castle, Sinaia, Prahova County, Southern Romania
We'll pick you up from your hotel/hostel in Bucharest and start driving towards beautiful Transylvania.
We will start our journey in the Prahova Valley, at the foot of the Bucegi mountains, place well known for both wine and winter sports (even if not both at the same time). The Peles Castle is considered to be one of the most beautiful castles in Europe. The location was not to be chosen by mistake, but by the stunning mountain scenery of which King Carol I of Romania felt in love with.
*Kindly take in mind that the Peles Castle is closed on Monday and Tuesday.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Brasov Historical Center, Brasov, Brasov County, Central Romania, Transylvania
There’s a thoughtful reason behind the royal name gave back in the 13th Century by the early German settlers, who named Brasov ‘The Crowned City’ ‘(Kronstadt). Beyond the great heritage for which the city deserves its prestige, Brasov is an exceptionally relaxed place to walk aimlessly, admiring the old buildings charming facades or just stop for the bohemian cafés which you will find at any step.

Stop At: Center
We now acknowledge the quote “The past shapes what you become”. The wealthiest citadel back in the 12th century is now one of the most important Transylvanian cultural landmarks.
Throughout the centuries, the inhabitants of the city have shown a great love for the arts and culture. The well-deserved honor to be the Cultural Capital of Europe (2007) must be linked to the wonderful Sibiu International Theatre Festival (the 3rd in Europe of its grandeur), to the operas, concerts and to various exhibitions organized in the city.
