Stop At: Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle), Str. General Traian Mosoiu nr. 24, Bran 507025 Romania

We Romanians are often amused that 80% of the hundreds of thousands of tourists that book Tours of Romania and come from all across the globe to see the Castle of Dracula, or more accurately, the Bran Castle, leave with their history lesson learned and forget about Bram Stoker’s fiction.

Once you see it in person, you will understand why this castle is one of the most expensive venues in the world and why it has become a symbol of Romanian tourism as the most visited tourist attraction in Romania.

If you want to learn more about this fairytale castle, you can see details about The Dracula’s Castle and book your private tour here , and also you private guide

1. Bear Sanctuary Zarnesti

2. BRAN/ Dracula’s Castle

3. Brasov City Tour

4. Black Church Brasov

5. Sinaia Monastery.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Libearty Bear Sanctuary Zarnesti, DN 73A km 6 - near the entrance in Zarnesti from Rasnov, Zarnesti 500075 Romania

If until now you have only witnessed the spectacle of nature on TV and you want to see it up-close, the Bear Sanctuary in Zarnesti offers a live wilderness experience for children and adults alike.

Imagine how the most beautiful virgin European forests would look like without a brown bear reserve like this one?

And what if we tell you can take pictures of real bears with their cubs up-close, and watch them eat and go about their day from only a few steps away, without the fear of getting attacked?

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Black Church (Biserica Neagra), Curte Honterus Johannes nr. 2, Brasov 500025 Romania

Whether you opt for the Brasov one-day tour or for the two-hour tour, it would be a shame to miss the Black Church in Brasov. Not only is it the largest gothic house of worship from Southeastern Europe, but it is not every day that you get to see a building that miraculously survived a devastating fire, like the one in 1689.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Brasov Historical Center, Piazza Sfatului, Brasov Romania

Are you looking for a different urban experience through which you can explore history, culture, and rediscover the beauty of nature, all at the same time? The city of Brasov is the ideal destination for lovers of history, music and culture, adventure, good food, winter sports, hunting, hiking, and even romance. It is the quintessential mountain adventure.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Sinaia Monastery, Manastirii 2, Sinaia 106100 Romania

In the most beautiful mountain resort, a place where many kings and important figures came to unwind and reflect, Sinaia Monastery is where you have the chance to escape reality and taste the simplicity and richness of orthodox spirituality, beautifully expressed in the artistic representations of this house of worship.

As a group of 4 we agreed that this was an excellent tour and we would highly recommend it. Florine our tour guide arrived promptly and throughout the day managed to have us avoiding the large queues. The bear sanctuary was a very sombre but enjoyable experience learning about individual bears and what they had been through but then the pleasure of watching them now roam free in their natural habitat. Off to Bran's castle which was both informative and fun...we even learnt how Dracula got his name!! some good photo opportunities as well and a chance to buy a bit of tat!! A visit to the Black Church then lunch in Brasov where Florine joined us and helped us to choose some local Romanian dishes. Finally our last stop was at the Sinia Monastery and Florine kindly drove us up to Pele's castle so we could take a quick peek from the outside. Overall a long day but a great way to see all the top sights outside of Bucharest!!
