About this activity
We'll pick you up from your hotel/hostel in Bucharest and start driving towards beautiful Transylvania.
Our first stop will be at the mysterious Bran Castle, known from Bram Stocker’s fang-tastic stories. As an alternative to the haunted stigma, the Bran Castle can be seen as a rich medieval patrimony for Romania, a royal palace in a not so common part in Europe.
Your second stop will be on the rocky hills of the Rasnov Citadel. Part of a trio of landmarks in Transylvania, along with the Peles and Bran castles, this citadel is full of history, being built as an attempt of survival against the enemies.
Leaving the remarkable landmarks full of legends, we will drive to Sighisoara where you can enjoy your dinner and accommodation in a 4* hotel with breakfast included.
Your second day will start in the fairy-tale UNESCO heritage Sighisoara. From the second you enter its fortifications and you walk on the jumbled narrow streets, you step into the medieval ages, which will remind you of the stories of the gingerbread rooftops from your childhood. Speaking of stories, we have good news for horror enthusiasts as well, as Sighisoara is also the place of birth of Vlad the Impeller – the ‘real’ character who is often linked to Dracula’s story.
After having lunch, you will continue our journey in Brasov. Abundant in cobbled streets, Brasov is proudly boasting to be Transylvania’s most impressive medieval town.
Leaving the two charming citadels, you can relax and enjoy the sightseeing road back to Bucharest, as your service also includes the transfer from and back to your hotel.
