Day 1. Bucharest - Curtea de Arges

Start your tour with pick up from your hotel in Bucharest and continue on with a transfer to the former capital of Wallachia (13th-14th centuries), Curtea de Arges, in the flat lands in the southern Romania. The town is located in the hill area at the feet of the Carpathian Mountains. Accommodation and dinner in a local pension.

Day 2. Curtea de Arges – Sibiu

In the morning you will go on a sightseeing walk in the Curtea de Arges, followed by a drive to Sibiu, where you will arrive early in the afternoon. There you'll continue on to a walking tour in the medieval centre of the town. Dinner and overnight in Sibiu.

Day 3. Sibiu - Astra Museum - Sibiel

Sightseeing in the centre of the European Cultural Capital for 2007 - Sibiu. In the afternoon - enjoy a trip to Astra open-air museum and on the way back, stop at the Sibiel village where you will visit the icons museum and have dinner with the local farmers.

Day 4. Sibiu – Biertan – Sighisoara

After breakfast, transfer to Sighisoara via Medias. En-route, stop in Biertan, well known for its Saxon fortress, cathedral and culture centre. Then continue to Sighisoara for dinner and overnight among the city walls. The afternoon is relaxed as there will be a walking tour in the fortress of Sighisoara.

Day 5. Sighisoara - Sovata, Ursu Lake - Praid

After a short walk in Sighisoara, continue by bus to Sovata spa resort, and get a chance to swim in the salty water of the URSU (bear) lake. From Sovata you'll embark on a transfer to Praid to visit the local salt mine. In the nearby village of Corund (famous ceramic centre) can spend some time shopping.

Day 6. Sighisoara – Predeal/Sinaia

After breakfast, drive to Predeal/Sinaia via Brasov and Bran. Along the way, stop for a sightseeing tour in Brasov before continuing to Bran, where the famous castle of Count Dracula will be visited. In the afternoon, continue further to the mountain resort Sinaia, where you'll stay for dinner and overnight.

Day 7. Predeal/Sinaia - Bucharest

During the morning hours, visit the Peles Castle and take a nice walk in the area surrounding the castle. After that drive to Bucharest via Ploiesti. Overnight in Bucharest.

Day 8. Bucharest

In the morning short sightseeing in the capital (depending on flight program) and after transfer to Bucharest Airport for departure.
